{GIVEAWAY!} Review of Little Keepers of the Home/Little Contenders of the Faith

*Keepers of the Faith provided me with a copy of each book mentioned so I could have a full understanding of their program.

Keepers of the Faith provides a program for children that is similar to Scouts. The wonderful thing about this program is that it can be used individually or in a group setting, such as a church or parent formed association.  Keepers programs are Bible-based, Christ Centered, and incorporate Christian principles as part of their teaching and learning process.
Little Keepers at Home is a hands-on program that is written for Girls 4-6 years of age. For those with older girls or boys, Keepers offers “Keepers of the Faith” for girls 7-14 years old and a Contender version for the Boys. Their website also sells all the items that are needed for setting up a club (sashes, badges, etc).

We have recently started “Little Keepers at Home” on our home but I am contemplating the idea of forming a club for Azilee and 5-6 or her friends. There are a few topics that Azilee is a little too old for at 6 years old (memorizing ABC’s for example) but most are still very age appropriate so I feel it covers that age range very well.

The table of contents is broken down into 4 main topics; Goldy Childhood, Basic Skills, Homemaking, and Nature. Under each main topic there are several lessons and skills that are taught such as bible memory, manners, how to be a prayer warrior, Card making, how to press flowers, cleaning, simple sewing, and lots more.

Prices for this program:
Little Keepers at Home $7.95
Keepers at Home $15.95
Contenders at Home $15.95

Keepers were kind enough to send me a copy of “Little Keepers of the Home” and a copy of “Little Contenders of the Home” to giveaway.

  4. Hi I would love to win the Little Keepers book. We already own the Little Contenders. My husband has had great success using it with my son. They love it. If I win the Little Keepers I will be doing it with two of my girls. I would love to either start a local group with the homeschoolers in my area or if I cant get enough girls I could always create a virtual group. I share this on pintrest in my giveaway board as well. Here: http://www.pinterest.com/mhomemaker/giveaways/
