Tinkerbell Pumpkin (Pintober 1)

We decided to use patterns to carve our pumpkins this year. I had filled my head with images of pumpkins saying "Welcome" or family themed pumpkins, but Azilee asked for Tinkerbell and this is what she ended up with....

Wooly Worm.

She named him Leafy.

Old Timers Tale- The thicker the Brown Ring, the milder the winter.
Solid Black means we will receive more Snow.

Ours is Black on the ends with a wide Brown ring.
Everyone else has found Solid Black ones.

Later that day, we researched how to keep them, what to feed them, and how they transform into a Moth in the Spring.
